• 1/2 x cup rolled oats

  • ½ x banana (mashed)

  • 1 x teaspoon cacao (or rich chocolate true protein powder for protein oats)

  • 1/2 x cup milk (regular or nut milk - water also works)

  • 1 x teaspoon honey


Put all ingredients into a jar or bowl and stir well so all combined. Cover mixture and put in fridge overnight.



You can use anything you want but our favourites include:

  • ½ x banana (use other half from mixture) or other fresh fruit (berries are yummy too!)

  • 1 x teaspoon honey

  • 1 x small handful nuts (walnuts or almonds are great!)

  • Shredded coconut

  • 1 x teaspoon (or tablespoon…) of peanut butter if you like it

  • 1-2 x tablespoon greek yogurt

  • Also add dark chocolate chips (75% or more cocoa) to make extra


Remove oats from fridge and stir up a bit (add more milk if too thick and gluggy). Heat in microwave for 80-90secs if want served hot, or get straight into the toppings if not. Drizzle honey directly onto oats is you want it to to be nice and sweet, otherwise you can add it at the end or not at all. Cut up fruit and put on top of oats, then do the same with other toppings.
